    About Red Yeast Rice and CoQ10:

    Red Yeast Rice is an antioxidant-rich yeast cultured on rice. It also contains active constituents called monocolins and is notable for its purported ability to support and maintain healthy cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.

    CoQ10 is an antioxidant co-enzyme naturally present in the body, but which may be depleted by certain drugs, conditions or stressors. It may help support overall cardiovascular health and enhance the actions of Red Yeast Rice.

    Works for me

    My doctor recommended this product. It has definitely helped lower my cholesterol. Just enough to put it in the proper range. Will continue to take this product.

    It Has Definitely Helped

    My doctor always wants to throw me on a statin. I won't take those as I feel they cause more harm than good. So I've been taking this brand of Red Yeast Rice now along with fish oil and have pretty much done what more than likely no statin could do. I know some people have trouble with red yeast rice upsetting their stomach and but I've never run into any like that.

    One a day/works for me!

    I take one choleast everyday. I've never experienced any side effects. It has made an impact in keeping my cholesterol in check. I do not have anything negative to say about this product- I'm hoping the price doesn't become an issue but Professional supplements always seems to provide special sales.

    It Works

    This stuff really works - my cholesterol went from 255 (LDL 184) in Dec went i decided to start taking this product to 159 (LDL 97) in July. I am very pleased. I was taking 2 in the morning and evening.

    Lowered my cholesterol

    I have been taking this product for over one year. I was first introduced to Choleast by my cardiologist. Prior to taking Choleast, I was taking a prescription drug to lower my cholesterol. It caused a spike in my liver function enzymes which scared me so I decided to take myself off the drug. My cardiologist recommended that I take choleast. So I began this product and have had excellent results ever since. My cholesterol went from 243 to 158. I shared this great news with my family and friends and now everyone I know is taking choleast. Thank you for this wonderful product. My liver thanks you too!!!

    Superior to Statin Medications

    Over six months of taking Choleast, 2 caps twice daily with meals, my total cholesterol went from 350 to 261; LDL went from 270 to 180 (and I lived to tell about it); HDL went up to 58. My daily diet during this time included items I ate before using Choleast: 2 eggs daily (pastured source), raw whole milk, raw butter, organic bacon, grass fed beef and bison, juiced green veggies. I refused statin drugs (to avoid their serious negative side effects), and told my internist that I would use natural means to reduce my total cholesterol to about 220 ( a safe level), and LDL to 130. Started Choleast in March 2011, and had follow-up lab tests in Sept. 2011.
