    Selenium supplement by Carlson contains organically bound Selenium from L-Selenomethionine providing 200mcg of Selenium.

    Methionine is an essential amino acid in human metabolism. Amino acids are building blocks of protein.

    Selenium is an important trace mineral and is essential to the function of Glutathione peroxidase, an antioxidant enzyme, which neutralizes harmful peroxide free radicals. Muscle enzymes also use selenium to maintain normal mass and tone.

    Suggested Usage

    Adults: take one capsule daily at mealtime.

    Carlson is recommended by my daughter's Naturopathic Doc. She says its a good clean effective brand. the Selenium works well for my daughter.
