    Not what I expected

    I got these for my 5-year-old son, thinking he could chew them since they are strawberry flavored. Well, I tried one with him when we got them. When I first put it in my mouth, the flavor was pretty good. We "chewed." The softgel simply pops open when you bite on it, and the fish oil then comes out, which tastes like fish. Then we chewed and chewed some more, but the softgel wouldn't do anything. It was like chewing on rubber. So...we've gotten him to swallow it with a bite of mashed banana or applesauce and they go down quite easily. No burp-back.
